It appears Caitlyn Jenner may be switching alliances from Ted Cruz to Donald Trump. The former Olympian and Reality Star recently posted a video to facebook as she visited the Trump Tower in New York City and used the women’s restroom.
“There have been very few complaints the way it is. People go, they use the bathroom that they feel is appropriate.”
The move came promptly after Trump made a statement on Thursday that transgender people should be allowed to use the bathrooms they feel most comfortable with. He also indicated this is the case at Trump Tower. When speaking with the Today show, Trump said, ‘There have been very few complaints the way it is. People go, they use the bathroom that they feel is appropriate. There has been so little trouble, and the problem with what happened in North Carolina is the strife and the economic punishment that they’re taking. So I would say that’s probably the best way.”
Trump also went on to say, “There’s a big move to create new bathrooms” in reference to transgender specific bathrooms. “First of all, I think that would be discriminatory in a certain way. It would be unbelievably expensive for businesses and for the country. Leave it the way it is.”

Presidential Candidate Ted Cruz responded to Trump’s statement saying, “That’s not a reasonable position, it is simply crazy and the idea that grown men would be allowed alone in a bathroom with little girls, you don’t need to be a behavioral psychologist to realize bad things can happen, and any prudent person wouldn’t allow that,” when talking with Glen Beck.
“by the way Ted, nobody got molested.”
Cruz has been outspoken against transgender rights. Though she originally appeared to support Cruz, Caitlyn Jenner now seems to be on the side of Donald Trump after learning about his transphobic views. Upon leaving the restroom Jenner simply stated, “Thank you Donald, I really appreciate it, and by the way Ted, nobody got molested.”
